SA 3751 aims to protect the private information of "at-risk individuals," which include Members of Congress, certain designated employees of the House and Senate, former Members of Congress, and their immediate family members.
The purpose of this amendment is to limit the public posting and sale of covered information, such as home addresses, personal phone numbers, personal emails, social security numbers, and geolocation data.

-
Other Businesses: Other businesses or associations cannot publicly post covered information on the internet if they receive a written request to stop. They must remove the information within 72 hours and are generally prohibited from transferring that data to others.
-
Accountability and Redress: At-risk individuals can take legal action in court to seek injunctive or declaratory relief if their covered information is made public in violation of this section.
