What this amendment would do
SA 3705, submitted by Mr. CORNYN, aims to change the Rebuilding Economic Prosperity and Opportunity for Ukrainians Act.
The purpose of this amendment is to expand the permissible uses of the Ukraine Support Fund. It adds a provision to allow the Government of Ukraine to use the fund for:
- Purchases of defense articles and services to respond to and recover from the consequences of the aggression of the Russian Federation.
