What this amendment would do
SA 3586, submitted by Ms. LUMMIS, aims to change Section 402 of title 37, United States Code.
The purpose of this amendment is to allow active duty Air Force members assigned to a missile alert facility to:
- Obtain meals provided in the mess facility of that missile alert facility.
- Have their basic allowance for subsistence reduced by an amount the Secretary of the Air Force determines is equivalent to the cost of those meals.
