What this amendment would do

SA 3532, submitted by Mr. Booker and Mr. Moran, aims to modify the waivers for limitations on transferring articles from the United States Munitions List to the Republic of Cyprus.

The amendment proposes the following changes:

  • It changes "one fiscal year" to "five fiscal years" in Section 205(d)(2) of the Eastern Mediterranean Security and Energy Partnership Act of 2019.

  • It changes "one fiscal year" to "five fiscal years" in Section 1250A(d)(2) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020.
