S.Amdt. 3424

SA 3424, submitted by Mr. Fetterman, Mr. Cotton, and Mr. Kelly, is an amendment to bill S. 2296. This bill focuses on appropriations for fiscal year 2026 regarding Department of Defense military activities, military construction, and Department of Energy defense activities.

The purpose of this amendment is to change how the minimum capital investment is calculated for certain Department of Defense depots. Specifically, it aims to change section 2476(a)(1) of title 10, United States Code by making the following adjustment:

• It removes the phrase "the preceding three fiscal years".
• It replaces it with "the preceding fiscal year, the current fiscal year, and the estimated amount for the following fiscal year".
