What this amendment would do
SA 3313, submitted by Mr. Lee, aims to add a new section to bill S. 2296.
The purpose of this amendment is to establish a two-year time limit for any law authorizing the use of military force enacted on or after the date this Act is passed.
Under this amendment, such authorizations would terminate after two years unless a joint resolution of extension is enacted before the termination date.
