What this amendment would do

Mr. Tuberville submitted this amendment to be added to bill S. 2296, which deals with appropriations for military and defense activities for fiscal year 2026.

The purpose of this amendment is to:

  • Repeal the Corporate Transparency Act and any amendments it created.
  • Make technical and conforming amendments to Title 31 of the United States Code and Title LXV of the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2020.
