What this amendment would do

SA 3251, submitted by Ms. Murkowski, aims to add a new section to bill S. 2296.

The purpose of this amendment is to:

  • Assign the Total Force Fitness program of the Department of Defense to be carried out by the Office of Personnel and Readiness.

  • Require the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness to speed up the full implementation of the program.
