What this amendment would do
SA 3194, submitted by Mr. Cassidy, aims to add a new section (SEC. 724) to the bill S. 2296.
The purpose of this amendment is to create a pilot program managed by the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Veterans Affairs. This program will assess if it is feasible and advisable to give credentials to active duty doctors, nurses, and technicians in the Armed Forces so they can work at Department of Veterans Affairs hospitals.
