S.Amdt. 2994

SA 2994, submitted by Mr. DURBIN, aims to add a section to S. 2296 regarding the "Sense of Congress on Russia's Illegal Abduction of Ukrainian Children."

The amendment adds the following:

• Findings: Congress finds that the Government of the Russian Federation and its military forces have abducted, forcibly transferred, or facilitated the illegal deportation of at least 20,000 Ukrainian children since the full-scale invasion in February 2022, causing devastating physical and psychological trauma.

• Sense of Congress: Congress condemns these actions and implores the Russian Federation to work with the international community to return all forcibly transferred Ukrainian children to their families without delay.
