What this amendment would do
SA 2956, submitted by Mr. Warnock, is an amendment to bill S. 2296.
The purpose of this amendment is to authorize appropriations to fully fund the basic allowance for housing for members of the uniformed services.
To achieve this, the amendment authorizes the appropriation of $1,300,000,000 for fiscal year 2026 for this purpose under section 403 of title 37, United States Code.
