What this amendment would do

SA 2781, submitted by Mr. Wyden and Mr. Merkley, is intended to be proposed to amendment SA 2360 to bill H.R. 1.

The amendment aims to make the following changes:

In section 50302(a)(2)(A) and section 50302(b)(2)(A), it replaces the phrase "For each" with "Subject to applicable law (including regulations in effect on the date of enactment of this Act), for each".
It removes subparagraph (C) from both section 50302(a)(3) and section 50302(b)(3).
In section 50401(b)(2), it changes the amount from "$171,000,000" to "$66,000,000".
In section 50501, it changes the amount from "$1,000,000,000" to "$743,000,000".
