What this amendment would do

SA 2745, submitted by Mr. Lee, aims to add a section regarding the termination of credits for wind and solar facilities to H.R. 1.

The amendment proposes to change the Clean Electricity Production Credit and the Clean Electricity Investment Credit so they no longer apply to facilities or qualified property that:

  • Begins construction more than 60 days after the enactment of the paragraph.

  • Is placed in service after December 31, 2027.
