What this amendment would do

Adds Funding for Rural Utilities: The amendment appropriates $30,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2025 through 2031 to the Secretary of Agriculture.
Purpose of Funds: The money is meant to conduct risk assessments of cybersecurity-related threats for eligible rural utility entities and to provide technical assistance to those entities to enhance their cybersecurity protections.
