What this amendment would do

SA 2693, submitted by Mr. Welch, aims to make the following changes:

Strike section 10103.
Strike section 10301 and replace it with a new section regarding REFERENCE PRICE.

The purpose of the new section 10301 is to amend Section 1111(19) of the Agricultural Act of 2014. It redesignates existing subparagraphs as clauses and adds a new provision stating that, starting with the 2025 crop year, the reference prices for a covered commodity shall equal the defined reference price multiplied by 1.05.
