What this amendment would do

Mr. REED submitted amendment SA 2641 to be proposed to amendment SA 2360 to the bill H.R. 1.

The purpose of the amendment is to delay the effect of the amendments made by chapter 5 of subtitle A of title VII.
It aims to add a requirement that the Comptroller General must first certify that the enactment of those amendments will not increase electricity prices for any American household before they can take effect.
