What this amendment would do

  • Mr. Reed submitted amendment SA 2629 to be proposed to amendment SA 2360 (proposed by Mr. Thune for Mr. Graham) to the bill H.R. 1.

  • The amendment aims to change section 87001 by striking the language starting with for the procurement through the period at the end.

  • In place of what is removed, the amendment adds wording to provide for Federal/State partnership grants awarded pursuant to section 7 of the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 956).
