Mr. Peters submitted amendment SA 2603 to be proposed for the bill H.R. 1.

The amendment aims to change the bill by striking paragraphs (8) and (9) of section 40003(a) and inserting a new provision.

What It Changes and Adds

  • $1,000,000,000 allocated to support the modernization and replacement of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) air traffic control towers (ATCT) and terminal radar approach control facilities (TRACONs).
  • Includes the analysis and identification of TRACONs for modernization and replacement.
  • Includes other appropriate activities for carrying out the establishment of brand new TRACONs.
