What this amendment would do

Mrs. Shaheen submitted amendment SA 2562 to be proposed to amendment SA 2360 to the bill H.R. 1.

The purpose of the amendment is to provide $424,500,000 for specific Coast Guard projects.

Specifically, the amendment aims to add the following to the bill:

  • Provide $424,500,000 for recapitalizing and repairing Coast Guard stations in States with not more than 1 Coast Guard station.
  • Give priority for these funds to facilities damaged by storms and those most in need of recapitalization.
