What this amendment would do

Mr. Whitehouse submitted amendment SA 2515 to hold the line on certain tax and healthcare policies by repealing specific sections of the underlying bill. Common sense tells us that when our elected officials pass laws, we need to keep a close eye on what changes they are making to our taxes and healthcare programs like Medicaid.

What It Aims to Change or Add

Repeals the section that modifies the deduction for foreign-derived deduction eligible income and net CFC tested income, putting the tax code back to the way it was before.
Repeals the section relating to Medicaid eligibility redeterminations.
Repeals the section relating to sunsetting the increased FMAP incentive in the Medicaid program.
Repeals the section modifying cost-sharing requirements for certain expansion individuals under the Medicaid program.
