What this amendment would do

Mr. Whitehouse submitted SA 2510, which proposes an addition to section 112 of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969.

It allows a project sponsor to pay an additional fee that matches the amount determined under subsection (b).
By paying this fee, the project sponsor can add their own name to the front of the name of the Federal agency that issued the permit for their project.
This renaming change lasts for a period of 180 days.
