S.Amdt. 2485

Mr. Kim submitted amendment SA 2485 to be proposed to amendment SA 2360 to the bill H.R. 1.

The amendment aims to change the funding amounts in section 1181(1) of title 14, United States Code, as added by section 40001.

• It strikes the amount of $1,142,500,000 and inserts $802,500,000.
• It inserts a new paragraph (2) to provide $340,000,000 for the procurement and acquisition of a hurricane hunter aircraft and for equipment for such aircraft for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
• This funding is intended to address critical operational gaps in hurricane weather forecasting.
