Mr. Kim submitted amendment SA 2483 to the bill H.R. 1. The purpose of this amendment is to stop the government from spending money on certain aircraft from other countries.

Ban Foreign Purchases: It stops any funds in title II from being used to buy, upgrade, retrofit, or modify an aircraft from a foreign source to use as an executive airlift aircraft, which includes Air Force One.
Define Key Terms: It defines an executive airlift aircraft as a plane used or meant to transport the President, Vice President, or a cabinet-level official. It defines a foreign source as any entity not incorporated or headquartered in the United States.
Stop Transfers: It prevents these foreign-sourced aircraft from being transferred to a nongovernmental entity.
