What this amendment would do
Mr. Kim submitted amendment SA 2475 to the bill H.R. 1. The purpose of this amendment is to delay when Title 1 and the amendments made by title I take effect.
Changes to the Bill
The amendment adds a requirement that Title 1 and its amendments cannot go into effect until a specific condition is met. The Administrator of the Food and Nutrition Service must first certify that these provisions will not result in a reduction in nutrition benefits for children, seniors, or veterans.
