What this amendment would do

Mr. Schiff submitted amendment SA 2463 to be proposed to amendment SA 2360 to the bill H.R. 1. The purpose of this amendment is to change a specific part of the bill regarding corporate taxes.

What It Aims to Change or Add

Strike chapter 1 of subtitle B of title VII and insert a new section.
Change the corporate income tax rate by striking 21 percent and inserting 25 percent.
Make this new tax rate apply to taxable years beginning after December 31, 2025.
