S.Amdt. 2413

This amendment aims to change the law by requiring the head of each agency to charge a fee to each labor organization recognized as an exclusive representative of agency employees for the use of federal resources and union time.

The purpose of the amendment is to add a new section that makes labor organizations pay for using federal resources and union time during each calendar quarter. The fee amount is calculated by adding the value of the union time of each labor representative and the value of agency resources provided for union use. These collected payments must then be transferred to the general fund of the Treasury.
