As folks looking out for the everyday people, we need to keep an eye on what our elected officials are trying to change in our laws. Ms. Hirono submitted amendment SA 2384, and it is pretty straightforward based on the text we have right here.

What It Aims to Change

Strike section 60005: This completely removes the part of the bill that deals with the repeal of funding to address air pollution at schools.
Change funding amounts: In section 60026(a), it crosses out the original amount of $256,657,000 and replaces it with $242,657,000.
