What this amendment would do
Mr. Thune proposed amendment SA 2312 to the bill S. 1582, which is about regulating payment stablecoins.
The purpose of this amendment is very straightforward. It aims to add a single rule to the end of the bill stating that the Act will take effect 5 days after the date it is enacted.
