-
Purpose: The amendment aims to create a deficit-neutral reserve fund relating to protecting sensitive national security deliberations and members of the Armed Forces.
-
Changes and Additions: It allows the Chairman of the Committee on the Budget of the Senate to revise committee allocations, aggregates, and other appropriate levels in the resolution, and make adjustments to the pay-as-you-go ledger.
-
Targeted Legislation: These adjustments are for legislation that would prevent or address the unlawful destruction of Federal records by Cabinet-level officials or the disclosure of highly sensitive or classified information through unauthorized use of Signal, Gmail, or other communication methods.
