What this amendment would do

MR. WARNER submitted amendment numbered SA 1849 to the concurrent resolution H. Con. Res. 14.

The purpose of this amendment is to establish a deficit-neutral reserve fund. This fund relates to protecting classified and sensitive information on programs and individuals of the United States from being accessed by employees of the U.S. DOGE Service Temporary Organization.

Specifically, it aims to allow the Chairman of the Committee on the Budget of the Senate to revise allocations, aggregates, and other appropriate levels in the resolution. It also allows the Chairman to make adjustments to the pay-as-you-go ledger for legislation relating to protecting this sensitive information from DOGE employees, as long as the legislation does not increase the deficit over the specified fiscal year periods.
