S.Amdt. 1511

Mr. King submitted amendment SA 1511 to the concurrent resolution establishing the congressional budget for the United States Government for fiscal year 2025 and setting forth appropriate budgetary levels for fiscal years 2026 through 2034.

The purpose of this amendment is to create a deficit-neutral reserve fund relating to shipbuilding.

Changes and Additions to the Bill

This amendment allows the Chairman of the Committee on the Budget of the Senate to revise committee allocations, aggregates, and other appropriate levels in the resolution.

It also allows the Chairman to make adjustments to the pay-as-you-go ledger for legislation relating to shipbuilding.

The shipbuilding mentioned may include polar icebreakers.

These adjustments can only be made if the legislation does not increase the deficit over the total period of fiscal years 2025 through 2034.
