What this amendment would do

  • Submitted by Ms. Rosen as SA 1405.

  • Adds a deficit-neutral reserve fund relating to housing production programs that support the creation or rehabilitation of affordable housing units to address the affordable housing crisis at the end of title III.

  • Allows the Chairman of the Committee on the Budget of the Senate to revise committee allocations, aggregates, and other appropriate levels in the resolution.

  • Allows the Chairman to make adjustments to the pay-as-you-go ledger for legislation relating to housing production programs that support the creation or rehabilitation of affordable housing units to address the affordable housing crisis.

  • Requires that the legislation must not increase the deficit over the total period of fiscal years 2025 through 2034.
