What this amendment would do

Ms. Blunt Rochester submitted amendment SA 1318, which proposes to add a deficit-neutral reserve fund to the concurrent resolution H. Con. Res. 14.

Purpose and Changes

  • The purpose of the amendment is to protect national progress in installing infrastructure to support alternative fuel fleets.

  • It aims to allow the Chairman of the Committee on the Budget of the Senate to revise committee allocations, aggregates, and other appropriate levels in the resolution.

  • It allows the Chairman to make adjustments to the pay-as-you-go ledger for legislation related to protecting national progress installing infrastructure to support alternative fuel fleets, as long as that legislation does not increase the deficit from fiscal year 2025 through 2034.
