What this amendment would do

MR. PADILLA submitted SA 1122, which aims to add a deficit-neutral reserve fund relating to election security grants to the end of title III of the concurrent resolution.

The purpose of this amendment is to allow the Chairman of the Committee on the Budget of the Senate to revise allocations, aggregates, and other appropriate levels, and to make adjustments to the pay-as-you-go ledger. This applies to legislation relating to election security grants, provided that the legislation does not increase the deficit over the periods of fiscal years 2025 through 2029 or fiscal years 2025 through 2034.
