What this bill would do
This bill requires the Secretary of Agriculture to provide cost-share grants to help specific groups retrofit agricultural tractors. These grants are intended to pay for the purchase, transport, and installation of approved rollover protection structures that include seatbelts. Eligible recipients include agricultural producers and certain types of schools that provide agricultural instruction. A Program Administrator will be selected by the Secretary to manage the application process and provide information via a website and phone hotline. The bill authorizes specific funding levels for each fiscal year from 2027 through 2031.
