What this bill would do

The "Deporting Fraudsters Act of 2025" amends the Immigration and Nationality Act. It clarifies that aliens who defraud the United States Government or unlawfully receive public benefits are inadmissible. This includes those convicted of, admitting to, or conspiring to commit these offenses. The bill covers both Federal and State or local public benefits. Those meeting these criteria would also be considered deportable.
