What this bill would do
This bill is called the No Nuclear Testing Act of 2025. It stops the use of government funds to run or get ready for any explosive nuclear weapons test that makes a yield. The bill blocks money from fiscal year 2026 as well as older money that was still available when the act became law. It also states that it does not limit nuclear stockpile stewardship activities that match the zero-yield standard and other laws.
