What this bill would do
The Space Ready Act authorizes the NASA Administrator to run a pilot program for infrastructure investments at the Kennedy Space Center. This bill establishes the Infrastructure Investment Fund within the United States Treasury. The fund is supported by assessments included in certain agreements to support public and commercial activities. These funds are intended for the repair, maintenance, and improvement of NASA-owned infrastructure. The Administrator is required to submit annual reports regarding the fund's totals and proposed uses. The authority to collect these assessments is set to end on December 31, 2035.
