What this bill would do

This bill, called the "Farm Board Act of 2025," changes who gets to be on the Board of Directors of the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation. It makes sure there's at least one specialty crop producer and, starting in 2027, one producer who does both livestock and crop production. The bill amends the Federal Crop Insurance Act to make this happen.
