What this bill would do
The "Healing Partnerships for Survivors Act" aims to amend the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act. It authorizes the Secretary to award grants to strengthen connections between health providers and community-based sexual assault programs. These grants are intended to support survivors of sexual assault throughout their lives. Eligible entities include state, territorial, and tribal coalitions, as well as certain nonprofit organizations and Indian tribes. The bill also provides for technical assistance and training to help implement these programs. Finally, it authorizes $30,000,000 for each fiscal year from 2026 through 2030.
