What this bill would do
This bill, titled the "Not One More Inch or Acre Act," directs the President to take necessary actions to stop citizens and entities of the People's Republic of China from buying public or private real estate in the United States. It targets citizens, covered foreign entities, and foreign persons acting on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party. If the President determines that current ownership by these groups poses a national security risk, the President can require them to sell the property within one year. The bill includes specific exceptions for refugees and those granted asylum or withholding of removal. It also clarifies definitions for covered foreign entities and United States persons.
