What this bill would do
The Foreign Funding Transparency Act amends the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. It requires certain tax-exempt organizations to disclose the total amount of contributions received from foreign nationals. These organizations must also separately report contributions from foreign countries of concern. This requirement applies to organizations with gross receipts of at least $200,000 or assets of at least $500,000.
