What this bill would do
This bill is known as the No Goodwill for Harming Women Act. It amends the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. The bill stops the amortization of any professional women's sports franchise that allows biological males to participate. A specified sports franchise is defined as a franchise for a professional sport designated for females that allows any individual whose sex is male to participate. Sex is defined as an individual's reproductive biology and genetics at birth. The Secretary is directed to prescribe regulations and guidance to verify franchises and determine participation.
