What this bill would do
The Concrete Pump Tax Fairness Act proposes to change how mobile mounted concrete boom pump vehicles are taxed. It would replace certain fuel taxes with a mileage-based user fee. The fee is set at $0.05 per mile for vehicles up to 60,000 pounds and $0.07 per mile for those over 60,000 pounds. Owners would pay this fee quarterly. The money collected will be deposited into the Highway Trust Fund.
