What this bill would do
This bill, known as the "Tulare Youth Recreation and Women's History Enhancement Act," seeks to authorize the transfer of certain land parcels to the City of Tulare, California. These parcels are currently occupied by an outdoor recreation facility for youth and a historic women's club. The United States currently holds a reversionary interest in this land that was originally granted to the Railroad in 1866. By passing this act, the United States would relinquish its interest in these parcels. This action would allow the City of Tulare to obtain clear title to the land. This move is intended to help the City improve and restore the existing facilities.
