What this bill would do
This bill, known as the "RAD Conversion Continuity Act," aims to change how certain public housing projects are handled. It allows public housing projects under the rental assistance demonstration program to keep their previously approved housing plans. These projects can retain their current approvals even after they convert to the rental assistance demonstration program. Additionally, the bill allows these projects to continue using their existing approval process for any future approvals. However, projects that choose this must continue following all original terms and conditions. They must also follow the same certification process used when they were initially certified.
