What this bill would do
The Rural Health Care Facilities Revitalization Act aims to allow rural health facilities to use specific Federal agricultural credit assistance. This includes hospitals, behavioral health facilities, clinics, home health agencies, and long-term care facilities. The funds can be used to refinance debt, update technology and equipment, or support operating expenses and reserve funds. To qualify, the assistance must help preserve access to health services and improve the facility's financial position. The bill also allows for certain requirement waivers for insolvent or distressed areas.
