What this bill would do
The Rural Partnership and Prosperity Act authorizes the Secretary of Agriculture to establish two major grant programs. The first is the Rural Partnership Program, which provides multiyear grants to coordinate investments in rural areas. The second is the Rural Partnership Technical Assistance Grant program, intended to assist rural community organizations. This bill also renames and expands the Rural Partners Network to improve the efficiency of Federal assistance. These programs aim to support economic development, planning, and community investment.
