What this bill would do
The "Right to Representation for Department of Veterans Affairs Workers Act of 2025" amends title 38 of the United States Code. It gives covered employees at the Department of Veterans Affairs the right to have a representative of their choice during examinations. This applies if the employee requests it and believes the examination could lead to disciplinary action. The right to representation can occur on duty time if applicable. Certain positions, such as senior executives and political appointees, are not covered.
