What this bill would do
The "Every Veteran Counts Act of 2025" requires the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to create and maintain a database of veteran demographic information. This data will be collected from various sources, including the Census Bureau and Social Security Administration. The Secretary must publish this information on a publicly accessible website and update it at least once a year. Additionally, the Secretary must submit a report to Congress regarding the Department's data strategy and its progress in managing this information.
